Organization Theory

The study of organizations as my focus of interest.

The study of organizations is itself very broad and varied from birth, death, population, why organizations, what kinds of organizations, how are organizations structured, why are organizations structured the way they are etc etc. While each of these are distinctive aspects of organizations, each of valuable interest, my interests lie in the study of how how organizations work.

Working of organizations : and see this as a issue of coordination of activities. Why?

Organizations grow tend to specialize and differentiate between theirs arms which do different kinds of work. With this the need for integration between the differentiated arms emerges and this is “coordination”.

Hence, I study coordination in organizations, where organizations for me large. specialized and differentiated entities.

A literature review of ” coordination”
